This is a hands-on AI Product role. You’ll work across discovery, delivery, AI quality, and continuous improvement, connecting customer needs, technology, and business outcomes alongside experienced Product, AI, and Engineering teams

What You Will Do

Your primary customers are B2B partners: banks and fintechs integrating Cake’s AI products via SDK and API — alongside internal CAKE teams that rely on the same AI capabilities.

• Discover & define — Work with business teams and B2B partners to understand problems, validate AI use cases, and turn needs into clear requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Drive product delivery — Coordinate Product, AI, Engineering, and QA teams to track development, test features, and manage dependencies; prepare release notes and rollback plans, and make sure partners hear about model or behaviour changes before they notice them.
• Own AI quality checks — Build and maintain evaluation datasets with the AI team using real edge cases from production; triage wrong AI outputs (false accepts/rejects, hallucinations, prompt failures) by root cause; and help define acceptance criteria and go/no-go checks for every model update.
• Monitor live AI performance — Track model quality in production — pass/fail rates, drift, and latency — alongside incidents, bugs, and change requests; support root-cause analysis and escalate early.
• Turn feedback into improvements — Combine partner feedback, support tickets, and usage data into patterns, and follow each insight through until it becomes a product fix or feature.
• Enable enterprise partners — Support partners integrating CAKE’s AI products through onboarding, technical clarifications, integration guides, and issue coordination.
• Contribute to product growth — Support product demos and pre-sales materials with the business development team — capped at around 20% of your time, so product delivery and quality stay the primary focus.

What We Are Looking For

• 0–2 years of experience in Product, Business Analysis, Technology, AI, or related fields — fresh graduates with strong potential are welcome.
  • Intern: final-year students or fresh graduates, 0 experience
  • Product Owner: 1–2 years in product, business analysis or tech-facing roles - owns assigned features or workstreams with team support
• AI curiosity & literacy — eager to understand how AI products work, fail, and improve; familiar with AI/ML concepts, model evaluation metrics (precision, recall, false positives/negatives), and real-world limitations.
• Structured problem-solving & communication — able to turn ambiguous needs into actionable tasks, write clear requirements and bug reports, and communicate effectively with customers and technical teams.
• AI-native mindset — actively use AI tools to research, analyse, and improve productivity, while critically validating their outputs.
• Ownership & adaptability — comfortable with ambiguity, eager to learn, accountable for commitments, and proactive in seeking support or escalating issues.
• Technical literacy & product experience — familiar with APIs, data flows, and technical tools; experience in product analytics or hands-on Product Owner involvement in SaaS products is a plus.

• Maintaining existing products feels beneath you — you only want to build net-new
